What is eStudent Checking?Headed off to college? If so, our new eStudent checking account gives students from age 18 to 23 the opportunity to take the convenience and hometown customer service of Farmers Bank with them. Here is how it works:
* If the account balance is less than $100.00 and inactive for six months, there will be a $5.00 per month dormant/inactive fee. Some restrictions apply. Please contact one of our New Accounts Representatives at 479-996-4171.

Is there an age qualification?
Yes, students enrolled in college between the age of 18-23. (Students 17 graduating from High School enrolling in college can open the account with a parent/guardian)
What happens after age 23?
At age 24 the account automatically converts to the e-farmers checking account.
What happens if I am not in school anymore?
The account will be converted to an e-Farmers account.
What is the difference between the e-student and e-farmers checking account?
The only difference between the accounts is the e-student account allows you to make 4 non-Farmers Bank ATM transactions per month without a service fee.
If I don't use all of the ATM transaction for the month, can I roll them over to the next month?
No. You only are allowed 4- free transaction each calendar month. They will not rollover.
Can I convert my existing Farmers Bank account to an e-student checking account without changing account numbers?
Yes, you can keep the same account number if you have an e-Farmers or Farmers Free checking account.
How much money must I deposit to open the account?
$100 deposit is required to open an e-student checking account.
Is there a monthly service fee for this account?
No, this is a free account. *(if the account balance is less than $100 and inactive for six months, there will be a $5.00 dormant/inactive fee per month the account remains inactive)
Are there any restrictions for this account?
Yes, you must receive e-statements with this account.
Is there Over Draft Protection for this account?
Yes , $300.00 *some restrictions apply ( available after 30 days of account opening without overdrafts. Insufficient Fund fees still apply.
